Meet the Baltic Holidays' team »
Having been established since 1999 and as the longest running UK specialists to the Baltic region, we know we have the experience, knowledge and the best prices to offer you.
The History of Baltic Holidays
I can still remember that hot Vilnius day in August 1999. Standing on a cobbled street in 30 c, I couldn't believe that here I was in a capital city of a country that hardly anyone had heard of. Stepping out of the plane I had expected a cold Baltic blast but had been greeted with a hot gust more reminiscent of the Mediterranean.
I was here to find out more about my father's place of birth and my heritage, after an amazing week travelling around Lithuania, I returned resolved to form a company to send travellers to this little known corner of Europe.
The single spare bedroom came in useful for my first office, and lithuanianholidays.com was formed. After my first clients had been to Vilnius they came back wanting more; asking did I do trips to Riga and Tallinn. No, I didn't, but a few months later that was rectified! Baltic Holidays took over from Lithuanianholidays.com in 2003
So where are we now?
Having sent over 10,000 people to the Baltics I would still call myself a small company but not too small. We passionately care about every client who travels with us, wanting them to have the best holiday ever. We feel by booking through us, you'll get a good deal but maybe more importantly, you've been well looked after and cared for. This is our aim, a premium service at a value cost.
If you want a short inexpensive break book online on our website.
Our online city break prices are cheaper than most big on line booking companies, and our clients are always really well looked after as we visit our hotels all the time and know the managers. Not only will you get a fantastic deal by a specialist, your also have supported your independent tour operator. We only sell the hotels that give great service and check ouir suppliers constantly.
Tailor make it
If you would like a more complex itinerary then phone us up and have a chat with one of our friendly and knowledgeable consultants, they will talk through all the options and help you put together an excellent itinerary; our tailor made department is our pride and joy.
Local knowledge, whats hot whats not....
We visit the Baltics every month seeing new developments, finding new hotels, and checking ones that we've been using for years, making sure that they are still reach the high standard we require. This means we know all the latest news and only recommend hotels, products and activities that we have tested and believe in.
Supporting the local community
Where we can, we use local hotels, family run business and promote responsible tourism. We work with The Carbon Consultancy (please see inside back cover) so you can offset flight carbon emissions directly though us. Also, as a company we are audited every three months and pay a carbon offset fee for every business flight that our company makes. This is a project close to our heart, as we believe in looking to the future of travel and want to leave a better world for our future generations.
Our Guides
And then there are our guides and transfer people in the Baltics. They are one of the reasons why our company is so special; I couldn't have got this far without them. If you book a Baltic tour with one of our private drivers, they will add a wonderful dimension to your holiday and you will see parts of the country many tourists miss.
Baltic Holidays today...
Now my wife, Josie and I work together making Baltic Holidays a truly family affair. We travel regularly to the region with our two small children which is often an eye opener! Also our parents often travel and always make a helpful comment or two. We always come away with ideas and having had a marvellous time.
When Phil met HRH
Recently it was an honour to go to Vilnius to receive an award from HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, for fostering business relations between Lithuania and Britian. This has made me very proud, to receive this recognition and approval means a great deal to me. Having worked hard to promote the Baltic region for many years, it has been lovely to receive such a nice thank you!
So if you would like to know more give us a call on 0845 070 5711or drop us an e-mail info@balticholidays.com, or order our new 2007 brochure.
Kind Regards,
Phil Teubler.

Why book with Baltic Holidays?
Because we are the longest running UK specialist tour operator to the Baltic region, we have been established since 1999, and have an excellent track record with clients, hotels and suppliers.
100% financial protection. Baltic Holidays are a member of AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators) all AITO members are required to offer 100% financial protection, whether you book accommodation only or a package with a flight. This means your money is safe.
Baltic Holidays are also members of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents), both ABTA and AITO require their members to adhere to a strict code of conduct, ensuring members are regulated and required to offer exceptional customer service.
An ATOL license is very important but did you know it only protects you if you book a flight with that tour operator as part of your package, and then it will only protect the air aspect of your holiday.
Baltic Holidays have been a member of AITO for 5 years, ABTA for 6 and hold an ATOL license.
Our staff, our friendly travel consultants, managers and directors travel to our destinations at least once a month, so we have up to date knowledge to pass on to our clients making sure you get the very best from your break.
Small but not tiny, we are small enough so you will deal with the same travel consultant from your first quote through to when you arrive home. However we are big enough to meet all your expectations.
Where possible we use local suppliers and hotels, all our transfer people are local to the Baltics and share a real love of their countries, our aim is to help the increased tourism to the country filter through to benefiting the local community.
We listen, tell us your ideas and suggestions, we can only continue to improve our excellent service if you tell us what you think. We like to build friendships with our clients.
