Carbon emissions are a key contributor to climate change, which will adversely affect the whole world. A large percentage of the escalating carbons emissions in the UK are due to the expanding UK air transport industry. The UK air transport sector emits enough carbon dioxide per day to fill the new Wembley stadium more than 13 times.
Our current output of carbon emissions is unsustainable, so what can we do when flights are cheaper than ever and more and more people are travelling abroad? How can we help to give our children a world they deserve and still enjoy exploring our planet?

The Carbon Consultancy offers a service for us to offset our flight carbon emissions, by planting new woodland in the UK, to process our emissions of carbon dioxide and by contributing to renewable energy projects designed to save fossil fuel based energy. The Carbon Consultancy does not promote the message that this then makes us "carbon neutral", as the immediate act of buying an offset does not automatically cancel out the flight we have just taken, and the savings are not always immediate but gradual over a period of time. What it does mean is we are being carbon responsible and contributing to a lower carbon environment for future generations.
All offset projects are based in the UK; this ensures projects are easily verifiable and monitored.
