Palanga -Lithuania
One word sums up Palanga - fun. This little seaside town really knows how to enjoy its self, and is fantastic for families; both with teenagers and toddlers. With its lovely 18 km long beach, small pier, fair rides and inexpensive restaurants, there is plenty to do, see and enjoy.
Nida & the Curonian Spit - Lithuania
The quiet village of Nida is based at the end of the Curionian Spit, on the Baltic coast. With a beach and the Baltic Sea on the west side and the Lagoon on the East side, this is a unique place. It's a lovely place, small wooden Bed & Breakfasts offer basic accommodation, and there are a few restaurants but mostly tourists and locals alike come to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, sand dunes and lovely beach.
If you long for peace and quiet and beautiful nature this is the perfect place for you.
Jurmala - Latvia
Jurmala is Latvia's premier beach town and only a 20 minute drive from Riga. It has a wonderful beach, 33 kilometres of wide white sandy beach stretch as far as the eye can see, flanked by pine forests, it's a beautiful sight. Its lovely town is very picturesque with clapper board houses on tree lined avenues.
Jurmala also has a great water park, perfect for keeping teenagers happy.
Parnu - Estonia
On the western coast of Estonia lies Parnu, Estonia's summer capital. On a beautiful summers day this is the place to be! Relaxed, friendly and fun, the quaint town of Parnu has a lot to offer. Perfect for families with small children and teenagers alike, its shallow water and gentle pace is great for parents needing to relax and toddlers needing to explore!
