Vilnius, the beautiful barque capital of Lithuania is a perfect place to enjoy a city and spa break and we have an excellent spa hotel based just outside of the city.
Spa breaks in Druskininkai, Lithuania
The pretty spa town of Druskininkai is 2 hours south-west of Vilnius, near the Belarus and Polish border.
The whole town is a sanatorium and until recently was a place only to visit if you were ill and needed to recuperate, however in the last few years Druskininkai itself has enjoyed something of a revival! Beautiful hotels have opened, that offer luxurious accommodation along with wonderful spa treatments.
Spa Breaks in Palanga, Lithuania
During the summer Palanga is a lively and fun beach town, during the winter Palanga is much quieter and the atmosphere is very different, it's perfect for a cosy and refreshing spa break. You can enjoy bracing walks along the beautiful Baltic coast, followed by wonderful treatments in very luxurious surroundings, at a fraction of the UK price.

One of our spas, Marciena Manor is an hour's drive from Riga in the Latvian countryside, this was a historic manor which is now a lovely hotel and spa.
Spa breaks in Jurmala, Latvia
Jurmala is a wonderful beach and spa resort only a 20 minute drive from the capital city of Riga. With its white sandy coastline stretching for 33 kilometres backed by beautiful pine forests it's a wonderful choice for a relaxing spa break.
In the wintertime you can really afford to spoil yourself as prices drop dramatically. Often the Baltic Sea freezes, this is quite a sight and you can enjoy invigorating snowy walks on the beach combined with wonderful spa treatments and pampering for a fraction of the UK cost.
Estonia Spa Holidays
Tallinn is Estonia's wonderful medieval capital. Charming, beautiful and easy to get around this capital is a great place to combine a relaxing spa break with some city sight seeing.
The wild islands of Estonia offer Padaste Manor and The Go Spa two wonderful spa's perfect for really getting away from it all.
Laulasmaa Spa Breaks
30 minute drive from Tallinn is this quiet area. Time has stayed still here; there is a beautiful beach and lovely woodland to explore. This is a place to visit if you really want to relax and take it easy.
Our spa here offers some lovely treatments, having a pedicure in the beauty parlour overlooking the sea is quite simply one of the most relaxing things I have ever done (all in the name of research of course….) amongst many others you can also experience ear candles and some serious massages.
Parnu Spa Breaks
The seaside resort of Parnu is known as Estonia's summer capital. Parnu has a lovely sandy beach and a quaint little town that comes alive in the summer months.
In the winter months Parnu is beautiful with its crisp snow and blue skies, often the Baltic Sea freezes. Hotel costs drop dramatically meaning you can enjoy a wonderful break at really reasonable prices.
In the evening you can visit the little restaurants and bars that Parnu has to offer, or enjoy a gorgeous meal at the Ammende Villa in its wonderful restaurant. Afterwards you can have a nightcap, under the stars in the lovely garden, or before the roaring fire in the main hall, then blissfully relaxed retire to your gorgeous room to catch up on beauty sleep!

You can enjoy some great day trips from some of our spas.
An interesting day trip from Druskininkai, Lithuania is Gruto Parkas (Grutas Park) the final resting ground for many Soviet Sculptures. During Soviet times, statues of Stalin and Lenin were placed anywhere of importance in the Baltic's. After independence these were gleefully ripped down, now they have been collected together in one park. These statues are fascinating to see, the propaganda machine of the Soviets at its most intimidating and effective.
There is a very interesting museum dedicated to what life was like in Lithuania under Soviet rule.
We can organise a private driver/guide to pick you up from your hotel in Druskininkai (or Vilnius) and take you the park. There is also a restaurant serving excellent authentic local dishes.
From Tallinn or Laulasmaa Spa we can arrange a day trip to Paldiski, across the bay on the Pakri Peninsula, founded by Peter the Great. In Soviet days this town became a closed military area housing the largest submarine training centre in the Soviet Union. Today parts are still just how they were during soviet times.
Because of this isolation much of the area's nature has been left untouched. Parts of the Peninsula are very lovely, and today the locals are trying to protect and promote its natural beauty. This is a very interesting place to visit.

Baltic Holidays' friendly staff selected a break in the unique location of Jurmala, This picturesque seaside town was easily accessible, only 20mins transfer time from Riga airport, 2 hr flight from Stansted, which was perfect for our quick mini break.
The holiday package included a range of treatments, access to a luxury spa / gym, wine / fruits on arrival, breakfast, dinner and transfers. This whole package was also an extremely reasonable price.
We are already looking to book our next break and are now planning to explore another Baltic country!!
