Where to visit on your Tallinn City Break
You can enjoy the sights and sounds at a leisurely pace.The Old Town can be a hive of activity and it's not unusual to see characters wandering though the streets in medieval costume selling different wares.
The Old Town of Tallinn has two distinct parts, one part built on a hill called Toompea - this was home to the gentry, and the other part Lower Town, once an autonomous town, at the base of Toompea on the flat.

A climb up Toompea Hill is rewarded with glorious views across the Bay of Tallinn. To see this wonderful vista climb one of the most picturesque streets in Tallinn, the cobbled hill of Pikk Jalg, old-fashioned street lamps guide you up a steep hill.
In the lower part of town you can dine al fresco in the summer months and enjoy watching the world go past. Most of Tallinn's dining, nightlife and shopping is concentrated in and around this area, and the Old Town's main gathering place, Town Hall Square, plays host to frequent concerts and outdoor markets.

Flight time two and three quarter hours.
Direct flights: London Gatwick, on Thursdays and Sundays with a scheduled airline, and from London Stansted with a budget airline.
You can fly indirectly from many London and UK local airports.
We have some wonderful day trips you can add to your long weekend, also you can add private airport transfers and a walking guided tour of the old town.

My wife and I have just returned from Tallinn. We had a great weekend and some happy memories.
The organisation was excellent: the guide, was very informative on our walking tour. The hotel was superb, excellently positioned and our room, The Merchant's Suite, had a "wow" factor that really impressed both of us.
