A beautiful beach
Perfect for families with small children and teenagers alike, its shallow water and gentle pace is great for parents needing to relax and toddlers needing to explore!
On the beach teenagers will enjoy the Volleyball nets and tricky swings, climbing walls and the odd trampoline. A challenging mini golf course is open at the height of summer (June-August) so there is plenty to amuse.
For those a little more daring - Parnu encapsulates the Estonian love of nature and relaxed attitude towards the body with its Ladies only nudist beach situated at one end. Signs warn the unsuspecting beach walker that its Ladies Only in several languages but still the odd gentlemen looks up and gets quite a surprise as ladies young and old bare all! You have been warned!

As well as its beautiful sandy beaches Parnu is proud owner of a great water park -Tervise Paradiis -Click here for details featuring four water slides, countless pools, a climbing wall and Jacuzzi - the park is mostly indoor and family tickets are available. Book early as this place is extremely popular.

Parnu is an hour and a half's drive from Tallinn
Temperatures during the summer months regularly top 30 Celsius.
Parnu is an ideal base from which to combine a beach and countryside holiday, as it is only a 20 minute drive from the stunning Sooma National Park.

"We are on our way home and wanted to thank you for a wonderful trip to Estonia. The accomodations were perfect, especially the Amende Villa (Parnu) which was very welcoming and charming. We ate dinner in their restaurant both nights and while a bit long for the kids was a real treat. Ivo (driver guide) was knowledgeable, curteous and very accomodating, even stopping at grocery stores for us on two occasions!
The itinerary really suited us and we were glad to have combined the Tartu and Parnu drives in one day as it gave us a little down time in Tallinn which allowed us to go for a swim in the hotel pool.
