This grand tour is a wonderful way to visit the Baltic Region not only will you stay in the three lovely Baltic Capitals of Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn, you will also go onto the beautiful and charming city of Helsinki, Finland and then to the magnificent imperial heart of Russia St Petersburg.
Included in this tour are all transfers with private drivers, accommodation on a Bed & Breakfast basis, day trips and walking tours.
Flights are not included in the price - as flight prices change so frequently we try and get you the best deal possible at the point of booking.
DAY ONE
Arrive at Vilnius Airport to be met by your private transfer to be taken to your 4 star hotel right in the heart of the old town, where you will stay for three nights.

DAY TWO
AM: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private 3 hour walking tour of the old town. This is a great way to get to know the city and your bearings.
PM: Explore Vilnius at your leisure

DAY THREE
Explore Vilnius at your leisure.
Alternatively you could opt to add a day trip. Options include visiting the burial ground of soviet statues of Stalin and Lenin in Grutas Park, enjoying the spa town of Druskininkai or visiting Trakai Castle just outside the city.

DAY FOUR
Travel by private transfer to Riga, Latvia. You will go via The Hill of Crosses in North Lithuania, where you will stop for a visit.
How the Hill of crosses started is the source of some debate. The most popular idea beginning that crosses were left in memory of a group of insurgents killed in the 1831 rebellion against Czarist rule. Today thousands and thousands of crosses, big, small, simple or ornate reside on a small hill in the countryside . Its quite something to see and a very special place.
Then its onto Riga where you will check in to your 4 star hotel in the very centre of Riga's Old Town where you will stay for 2 nights.

DAY FIVE
AM: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private 3 hour walking tour of Riga old town. This is a great way to get to know the city and your bearings.
Riga is the largest of the Baltic capitals, it is a beautiful city with a charming old town and stunning Art Nouveau district.
PM: Explore Riga at your leisure.
Over night: 4* Hotel in Riga's Old Town
DAY SIX
Leave Riga and travel by private transfer to Tallinn, the medieval and lovely capital of Estonia. You will stay at 4* Hotel in Tallinn's Old Town for three nights.
The 4* Taanilinna Hotel is in the heart of Tallinn's old town. Set back from a quiet cobbled street in a small court yard, the Taanilinna is a great favourite with our clients.

DAY SEVEN
AM: You will be met in reception at your hotel for a private 3 hour walking tour of Tallinn's old town. This is a great way to get to know the city and your bearings on your first morning.
PM: Explore Tallinn at your leisure.

DAY EIGHT
Explore Tallinn at your leisure.
Alternatively you could opt to add a day trip. Options include visiting Estonia's beautiful Lahemaa National park or Paldiski a town originally founded by Peter the Great, and more recently closed by the Soviets and used as a military town housing the largest submarine training centre in the Soviet Union.

DAY NINE
Leave Tallinn and head for Helsinki. You will travel by Hydrofoil from Tallinn direct to Helsinki - the crossing takes approximately one and a half hours.
Check in at 4* Hotel In the centre of Helsinki where you will stay for 2 nights.
Over night: 4* Hotel in Helsinki
DAY TEN
Explore Helsinki at your leisure.
Alternatively you could book a Design walk, or a day trip.

DAY ELEVEN
Leave Charming Helsinki for St Petersburg - the imperial heart of Russia. You will travel by train, journey time is approximately 5 hours.
You will be met from the train by a private transfer who will take you to your 3 star hotel, where you will stay for 3 nights.

DAY TWELVE
AM: You will be met at your hotel by a guide for a private excursion to the Hermitage Museum.
The Hermitage Museum occupies six beautiful buildings alongside the River Neva and holds a collection of over three million works of art. Our guide will make sure you see all the highlights of this wonderful museum.
PM: Explore St Petersburg at your leisure or add a walking tour of the city.

DAY THIRTEEN
AM:You will be met at your hotel by a guide for a private excursion to Catherines Palace in Pushkin.
Catherine’s Palace has lovingly been renovated and restored since the Nazi virtually destroyed it during the second world war. The amazing feat of this restoration is quite something, stunning detail and care has been taken to restore this Palace to its original glory.
PM: Explore St Petersburg at your leisure.
Over night: 3* central Hotel
DAY FOURTEEN
Leave St Petersburg to return to Riga, the capital of Latvia. You will fly with Air Baltic. You will be met by private transfer from Riga Airport and taken to your 4 star hotel in Riga's Art Nouveau area where you will spend your last night. (Alternatively you may stay in St Petersburg for an extra night and then fly direct back to Uk.)
Arrive at Riga Airport for a private transfer to your 4 star Hotel.
To mark the end of your Grand Tour relax in style in this lovely hotel in Riga's Art Nouveau area. Enjoy more of Riga whilst you reminisce about all the wonderful experiences you will have had!

We have now had a chance to catch our breath for a couple of days and I wanted to drop you a note letting you know how pleased we were with our recent trip to the Baltics and St. Petersburg. All of the arrangements you made were great. The hotels were very nice and wonderfully located in proximity to the best of sights! Each of the guides you arranged for us was charming, informative and had a thorough command of English. We enjoyed each of them and from talking with them got a bit of a feel about what life in the country was like as seen from their perspective. We probably spent the most time with Maria Schegoleva in St. Petersburg. She was simply delightful and had a marvelous command of idiomatic English. Each and every one of your ground transportation folks was always there when scheduled and were pleasant and informative. Even the midnight train to St. Petersburg was a great experience. We thank you for all of your personal attention and certainly would recommend you and your operation to anybody here in the US wanting to see the Baltics. Thanks for everything.
