Day 1 - Arrival to Chisinau
Private transfer from the airport to your hotel
Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and drive you to your hotel (they will be holding a sign with your name on it). Welcome to Chisinau! Soon you will be checked in and exploring the city.
Day 2 - Chisinau
Private Walking Tour of Chisinau (3 hours)
Our local guide will meet you in the reception of your hotel and take you for a private walking tour of Chisinau. See the main sights and get orientated with the city, and take this opportunity to mention any specific places you want to see or interests you have so we can suggest where to visit. Learn about life in Moldova, how modern history has shaped this small but significant country and discover its people through real stories and anecdotes. Our guide will go at your pace, so please feel free to shout up if you want to stop for a coffee or look in a shop!
Day 3 - Old Orhei & Crivova
Wine Cellars & Monasteries Day Trip
Start the day with a visit to Curchi Monastery, a real pearl of our religious life. Here you'll see several churches, and among them - the “Virgin's Assumption” Cathedral, built by the drawings of genius architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Further drive to the Old Orhei reserve, the most picturesque and amazing site of Moldova. Here you will have the possibility to experience the real village life of Moldova and also photo shooting of local people/life. Enjoy a visit to the Orthodox cave monastery called “St. Maria Dormata”, which was expanded and modified inside the cliffs by the monks over the centuries ago and preserved in a functional state. Next visit to the world famous Moldovan Cellars - Cricova, which is a real underground wine city with wide streets, warehouses, tasting rooms. Cricova is also well known for brilliant sparkling-wines produced by the classic French method. Then it's back to Chisinau.

Day 4 - Tiraspol / Transnistria
Transnistria Private Day Trip
Welcome to Transnistria - the old USSR is still alive and well in this autonomous region. Transnistria is a breakaway republic within the internationally recognized borders of Moldova. The country's national coat of arms still includes the traditional 'hammer and sickle' and statues of Lenin still loom over the locals. First stop is to visit Bender Fortress. Next we visit Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria and enjoy a traditional Ukrainian lunch in a local restaurant. On the way back to Chisinau, stop for a tour of Noul Neamt monastery. (It is also possible to add a visit to the Kvint distillery for groups of 5 people or more, please enquire for details).
Day 5 - Chisinau
Free time in Chisinau

Day 6 - End of tour
Departure from Chisinau
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport.
