Day 1 - Wroclaw

Arrival to Wroclaw

Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and take to you to your hotel. Welcome to Wroclaw!

Day 2 - Wroclaw

Wroclaw Old Town Walk (Up To 4 Hour)

Wroclaw is picturesquely located on the Odra River. It is one of the oldest and the most beautiful cities in Poland. Our tour reveals the fascinating and tumultuous history of the city which belonged to Polish Kingdom, then to Czech Kingdom, to Habsburgs’ Empire, to Prussia and Germany… We stroll around the Old Town area and discover all its highlights: the Old Town Square with a magnificent Gothic Town Hall (14thcentury), the famous Hansen and Gretel tenement houses, charming streets like Jatki. We also admire the Wroclaw University building standing on the embankment of the Odra River – its Aula Leopoldina is a masterpiece of Baroque art. We also visit Ostrow Island hiding the complex of sacral buildings including the Gothic Cathedral of St John. While walking around Wroclaw Old Town do not miss the dwarfs' figures – they are the symbols of the Orange Alternative and remind the history of opposition against the communist regime.
The tour lasts approximately 4 hours.

Day 3 - Wroclaw

Day at leisure to explore Wroclaw, visit museums, galleries, browse the shops, relax in the cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Day 4 - Wroclaw to Jelenia Gora

Wroclaw to Jelenia Sightseeing

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and you will enjoy a day exploring the local region on your way to Jelenia Gora. Discover Lower Silesia!

We visit the Church of Peace in Swidnica (17th century), the largest timber-framed religious building in Europe. It bears exceptional witness to the political situation of Europe in the 17th century, religious wars, and spiritual commitment. Then we see an impressive castle in Ksiaz. Built in the 13th century it was then rebuilt in different styles and hides 400 rooms and lodgings. Famous people visited this castle, among them Winston Churchill. Afterwards, we go to Kamienna Gora to visit one of the secret Hitler’s Laboratories Among – the place was to become the centre of project offices and factories producing the most modern aircraft structures and weapons of WW II. Then we continue to the hotel in Jelenia Gora or nearby.
Note: depending on availability we visit Kamienna Gora or Osowka Undergrounds.
Accommodation in Jelenia Gora or optionally in one of the palaces in the Valley of Palaces and Gardens.

Day 5 - Exploring Lower Silesia

Valley of Palaces & Gardens Day Tour

Enjoy the day in the Valley of Palaces and Gardens of the Jelenia Gora Valley – sometimes called the Loire valley of Poland. During the tour we visit (inside, sometimes only outside) some of the most beautiful palaces and get to know the story of their owners… mysterious, full of love, passion or.. crime. This tour is also to discover locally produces liquors and beer. A great relaxing day with lot of fascinating stories! Return to the hotel.

Day 6 - Jelenia Gora to Wroclaw

Transfer from Jelenia Gora to Wroclaw / Krakow / Prague / Berlin

Morning: Departure from Jelenia Gora back to Wroclaw for your flight home, or onto your next destination... or we can continue this tour on to Berlin, Prague, or elsewhere in Poland...
If you continue on to Berlin you will go via Boleslawiec (pottery manufacture) and Zagan (Allied P.O.W Museum).

We had a wonderful holiday and we felt so amazingly welcome. As you know, with the impact of the current war in Ukraine, the country is under great financial pressure and tourist industry is suffering. Everywhere we went we were thanked for supporting Poland by not cancelling our travel. We’ve got to say the whole sordid business had little impact on our holiday. We felt very safe, and it was heartwarming to see firsthand how the Polish nation has risen to the challenge and helped the Ukrainians. As we’ve said we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed all that we saw. Things we’d change are few which show how good the itinerary was that you and the team had organised for us. Absolutely loved the extra trips that you had suggested. It’s a given that we’d be happy to recommend your company to anyone (and have done so on numerous occasions already).

THE BEST CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE IN POLAND

We’ve just returned from the best Christmas holiday experience in Poland…. All organised by Sally and team from Baltic Holidays… Where do I begin???? The whole trip was organised by Sally… flights, transport, hotels, food, restaurants, trips and lots lots more. It was Christmas Wonderland. Our rooms were amazing and well equipped, warm and comfortable. The hotel is next to the entrance to the forest/mountains… so lovely snowy walks and sledging.We walked into Zakopane, skied, sledged and so so much more.I can’t explain in words how grateful I am for this amazing holiday that Sally organised for Fred, Freya,Gaia and myself.I am still quite emotional about how amazing the experience was, especially when the pandemic seemed to be against us travelling.Regarding covid… we felt safe and at no risk… and we have returned home to receive negative PCR tests.All I can say is definitely give Baltic Holidays a call and book a holiday asap…. You deserve it!!!!

They put together an amazing, personalized 1 month tour of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. They drove me to the capitals of each and also to 3 of their incredible beach resorts on the Baltic Sea.
