Day 1 - Arrival in Tallinn

Private Transfer from Tallinn Airport to your Hotel

Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and drive you to your hotel. Welcome to Tallinn!

Explore Tallinn's old town, enjoy a meal at a fabulous old town restaurant (we can book you a table), book tickets for the ballet or a concert, stroll the old town streets, and soak up the special atmosphere of Tallinn.

Day 2 - Tallinn

Tallinn 2 Hour Private Walking Tour

Our guide will meet you at your hotel reception and take you for a 2-hour walking tour of Tallinn's old town. This is a great way to get your bearings and ask any questions about your stay in Tallinn, maybe you want to learn some basic words, get some tips on good cafes, or learn how to use public transport - our guide will be pleased to help!

Day 3 - Tallinn to Saaremaa

Tallinn to Saaremaa (via Parnu) Private Transfer

Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Saaremaa. On the way, you have a 2-hour stop in Parnu. This is an independent stop to explore the pretty town of Parnu, or take lunch in one of the local cafes or restaurants. If you want something a bit special we can arrange for you to have lunch at a splendid Art Nouveau Villa - this is a real treat! Check in to your 4-star spa hotel in Kuressaare on Saaremaa island. (Or choose a luxury boutique hotel or glamping cabin!)

Day 4 - Saaremaa

Highlights of Saaremaa Private Tour

Our local driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will explore the island of Saaremaa. It is an idyllic island full of natural and cultural sights including Kaali Meteorite Craters, Angla Windmills, Karja Medieval Church of St. Catherine, and Panga cliff. The tour lasts approximately 5 hours with our friendly local guide, transport by car and all entrances included.

Day 5 - Saaremaa

Day at Leisure

This is why you are here on Saaremaa after all, this is a place to relax and enjoy your spa hotel; treat yourself to some pampering treatments, wander along the shore for a stroll, or take a leisurely lunch in Kuressaare. For those more active, there are activities on offer also.

Day 6 - Saaremaa to Tallinn

ur driver-guide will pick you up and drive you to Tallinn. Depending on your flight time, either to the airport or for a final night in Tallinn.

Baltic Christmas Markets - Vilnius, Riga & Tallinn

Without exception, all the guides and drivers were first class; knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. In Vilnius, Benjaminas seem to know something about almost every building of interest in the city and, of course, with all his experience, during our time in Lithuania, there wasn’t a single question from us which stumped Linas. In Latvia, Normundstook us to the Rundale Palace and suggested we might also like a stop at Bauska Castle. This was a really good suggestion and we thoroughly enjoyed the extra stop. He was a great guy and very interesting. Similarly, in Riga, we had a fantastic time with Gita, especially when she mentioned the Art Nouveau Eisenstein buildings (something we didn’t know anything about) and asked if we wanted to see them. Naturally, we said “Yes” and then spent an incredible couple of hours marvelling at all the extravagant designs around Alberta iela. And, of course, In Estonia, we had Jane making sure that we didn’t lose ourselves in the Soomaa swamp and bog. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the National Park was awesome; moreover, due to her looking out for us, we both managed to avoid getting that ‘sinking feeling’ whilst bog-walking😊 Back in the ‘big city’, Stina took us around whilst also pointing out good places to eat and visit, and Ivo took us out on a coastal walk which, in many ways reminded us of being at home in West Cornwall.

I've posted the following review on TripAdvisor a few moments ago: We have recently returned from a two-week tour of the Baltics, combining the Baltic Capitals Private Tour with stays in Kaunas and Palanga at the end, and we can thoroughly recommend Baltic Holidays to others thinking of visiting the region. The itinerary was well thought through and was ideal for a first holiday in the three countries. The accommodation was well chosen and centrally located, which made it easy to explore each of the cities. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and enabled us to discover many great places that we would never have found on our own. We especially enjoyed the wonderful restaurants in each of the cities that we visited. Overall we had a great holiday and would like to thank Phil and the team at Baltic Holidays.
