This is a beautiful tour of the Nordic capitals of Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm & Helsinki. Enjoy two nights in each city, with a private walking tour to get you acquainted on your first day in each capital. All of your transfers will be arranged for you, so you can simply enjoy the journey. Day 1 - Copenhagen
Transfer From Copenhagen Airport To Your Hotel
Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and drive you to your hotel (they will be holding a sign with your name on it). Welcome to Copenhagen! Get checked in at your hotel, and enjoy an evening stroll around Copenhagen. If you would like to book a restaurant for this first night, we can do that for you.
Day 2 - Copenhagen
Private 2 Hour Walking Tour Of Copenhagen
Our local guide will meet you at your hotel reception and take you for a 2-hour guided walking tour of Copenhagen. Pass the famous Tivoli Gardens, and through old, narrow streets to the National Museum, Christiansborg Palace and through Nyhavn with its many restaurants and colourful waterfront buildings. From there you will continue to Amalienborg Palace before you return to the City Hall square along the pedestrian shopping street Strøget. This is a great way to see the main sights of Copenhagen, get your bearings in a new city, and learn about local life from your guide - make sure to ask for their current favourite cafes, bars or restaurants for some insider tips!
Day 3 - Copenhagen to Oslo

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the harbour. Your tickets will have been prepurchased for your overnight ferry cruise to Oslo.
Overnight ferry cruise to Oslo
A very pleasant overnight cruise from Copenhagen to Olso with DFDS. Our standard cabin choice is a 2 bed (lower beds) with a sea view, for alternate cabin options please ask us for details. The cruise departs from Copenhagen in the afternoon and arrives in Oslo in the morning. You can choose to include an all-you-can-eat breakfast, buffet dinner or set course menu in the restaurant. Facilities onboard include relaxing on the sundeck, taking a dip in the pool or relaxing in the sauna and pampering yourself with a beauty treatment. Start your evening with a cocktail at the bar and after dinner dance the night away in the disco or nightclub. And there are plenty of fun experiences for children too. Please note there is a stop en-route at Frederikshavn.
Day 4 - Oslo

Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and drive you to your hotel (they will be holding a sign with your name on it). Welcome to Oslo!
Oslo Private Walking Tour (2 Hours)
Our local guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you for a 2 hour walking tour through the city centre of Oslo and down to the harbour. The tour includes such highlights as the House of Parliament, a walk on the roof of Oslo Opera House (built in 2008), Akershus Fortress (erected over 700 years ago), Aker Brygge quay, and a visit to the City Hall (free entry), where the Nobel Peace Prize is annually awarded. This is a great way to get acquainted with Oslo and to ask your local guide for any tips or recommendations for your stay.
Day 5 - Oslo

Free time in Oslo. We highly recommended to visit the Bydgoy museums during this day, the Kontiki, Fram and Viking museums are must-sees and the Folkmuseum is also excellent. Alternatively, take to the water for longer on a fjord sightseeing tour.
Day 6 - Oslo to Stockholm

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the train station.
Train from Oslo to Stockholm
Your train tickets will have been pre-purchased and delivered to you, for your train travel from Oslo to Stockholm. The Intercity direct train takes approximately 5h30m and we will prepurchase your tickets and reserve your seats. There are daily departures early morning, or late afternoon.

Day 7 - Stockholm
Stockholm Old Town Private Walking Tour
This walking tour is to get your bearings around the city. Our local guide will pick you up from your hotel reception and take you on a 3-hour guided tour by foot around the City of Stockholm. You’ll visit the Old Town of Stockholm (Gamla Stan); located on a small island with narrow stone streets and old buildings, this is a charming area to walk about. Sights of interest are Storkyrkan, the Royal Palace, the Royal Opera, Stadshuset, Kungsträdgården, and much more. Entrances are not included.
Day 8 - Stockholm
Exploring Stockholm
Make the most of your day in Stockholm, before your departure by ferry this evening. We highly recommend you explore the Stockholm archipelago, take a ferry out to an island to see island life and, enjoy a meal alongside the waterfront. If you enjoy crafts and workshops, perhaps visit Fjaderholmarna for the day. If you would like us to arrange a tour for you, please ask.

Overnight Ferry From Stockholm To Helsinki
A relaxing and enjoyable overnight cruise from Stockholm to Helsinki with Tallink ferries on the Silja Serenade or Silja Symphony cruise ships. Day 10 - Helsinki
Exploring Helsinki
There are many ways to fill a free day in Helsinki. Take a guided tour with a guide out of town to Porvoo perhaps, or take a train to independently explore another city or town. If you would like to experience some Finnish nature, we can take you for a hike, kayak, or picnic in the wilderness nearby. You can also choose to take a ferry to Suomenlinna fortress, and maybe island-hop by ferry to enjoy a meal on an island or a local sauna experience. Talk to us about what you would like to see and do.

The dog sledding in the dark was an amazing experience and one we won't soon forget! Very cold and very dark but that did not stop us from having a fantastic time. We learned about dog sledding in general and we had just as much fun interacting with the dogs as we did chatting amiably with the members of the family in their home afterward.It felt very personal/intimate, exactly what we were looking for. The Arctic Bath is one of the most dazzling locations/accommodations that we have ever experienced. The service was assertive without being pushy, they were always there to help when we needed someone but otherwise, it was a very intimate and tranquil stay. The bath itself was amazing, and we will never forget the evening plunge into icy waters. Just amazing. The sauna was something the whole family enjoyed. The food was as dazzling as our lodgings, the Christmas dinner was the highlight with every course thoughtfully prepared and presented. ArcticBath is one of the most romantic spots we have ever been but it was still a fantastic spot for our 5 person family. Our snowshoeing experience was not just a fun trip through the breathtaking landscape but a fascinating lesson in Sweden culture, its floraand fauna, and survival skills. Our guide was very informative and tailored the trip so our kids could keep up and stay engaged. Both the hovercraft ride and the snowmobile trekking were fun and thrilling for all members of our family, racing across the frozen Baltic Sea and through the dazzling snow-covered landscape. As stunning as it was in winter, it is a place we would love to come back to during the summer. Thank you again for organizing a once-in-a-lifetime holiday for our family! We had a brilliant time and came home with a completely different and very positive perspective of the Baltic States and Finland. We found every city we visited absolutely fascinating and simply could not pick a favourite. It is hard to pick a highlight, but one of them would have to be the local guides and the drivers who took us for our day outings and did the transfers. Without exception, they were first class. Their passion for their country and willingness to talk about their lives and experiences and, as an example, the impact the Soviet occupation had on them and their families, really brought each country to life and helped us understand a little of what it must have been like then. We were also so impressed with all the paperwork and vouchers we received and know a lot of organisation went on behind the scenes. It all went like clockwork and we were nothing but impressed by your efficiency. Thanks again for a super holiday. We had a fantastic holiday and everything went very smoothly. We were also lucky enough, albeit through a vehicle fault, to meet up with Jurga. Her husband was our guide on the day out in Riga but unfortunately the car developed a problem. Jurga came out with another vehicle. It was great to meet her having had so many e-mail conversations. It was good to be able to say how impressed we were with the organisation of our trip. It was really well put together and all of the guides were very good and knowledgeable. Bearing in mind the length of time we spent with them we had no hitches. We learnt a lot from the trip and enjoyed hearing the guides' stories.
